Becoming a contrarian and troublemaker involves challenging the status quo and questioning commonly accepted beliefs or norms. To do this, you can start by developing a critical mindset and being willing to think independently. Engage in discussions and debates, express your opinions confidently, and be prepared to face opposition. It's important to be respectful and open-minded while also being willing to push boundaries and challenge the prevailing narrative. Remember that being a contrarian and troublemaker doesn't mean causing harm or being disruptive for the sake of it, but rather advocating for change and progress through unconventional means. **

If your father is a contrarian thinker, it's important to approach conversations with an open mind and be willing to listen to his perspective, even if it differs from your own. Try to understand his reasoning and the evidence he uses to support his views. Engaging in respectful discussions and asking questions to gain a deeper understanding can help foster a healthy dialogue. It's also important to remember that it's okay to agree to disagree on certain topics and to focus on finding common ground in your relationship. **

Being a contrarian thinker and easily irritable may be factors considered in the evaluation, but they would not be the sole reasons for admission. The decision to admit someone to a psychiatric facility is based on a thorough assessment of their overall mental health and well-being. **

No, psychiatry cannot institutionalize someone solely based on being a contrarian thinker and easily irritable.
