When writing a backstory for a character, start by considering their past experiences, motivations, and personality traits that have shaped who they are in the present. Think about key events or relationships that have influenced their development. It's important to strike a balance between providing enough detail to make the character feel real and relatable, without overwhelming the reader with unnecessary information. Remember to show, rather than tell, aspects of the character's backstory through their actions, dialogue, and interactions with others. **
